Published 9 October 2026: Venkatesh Daggubati and director Trivikram Srinivas’s Telugu film Aadarsha Kutumbam has been postponed and will not release on its announced October 9 date. Producer Naga Vamsi confirmed the delay in remarks reported on October 6. Those reports did not announce a replacement date.
Why was Aadarsha Kutumbam postponed?
The Hindu reported that the team missed its overseas censorship-submission timeline and that the makers would discuss a suitable date with Venkatesh. In a separate report, The New Indian Express quoted Naga Vamsi saying the team did not want to rush the technical quality and would announce a date after discussions with Venkatesh and Suresh Babu.
For now, the October 9 date is the firm change: older promotional cards and release lists should not be treated as current, and an unverified date circulating online should not be considered final.
Cast, director and music
Trivikram Srinivas directs the film, which stars Venkatesh Daggubati, Srinidhi Shetty, Nara Rohith and Nivetha Pethuraj. S. Thaman is composing the music, and Haarika & Hassine Creations is producing the Telugu feature.
What audiences should watch for next
The reports we verified say the makers will settle on a fresh schedule after further discussions with the lead actor. Until an official announcement arrives, treat any replacement date as unconfirmed.
